So this is pretty much a mid-trip update so it's pretty much a whole lot about nothing.

As a generalisation, it's had its extremes. Like it's had its highs and lows. There was this duo (black American and White Australian) doing break dancing and stuff so the black guy asked everyone to clap along in his really Black American from the Bronx accent. "Aight, I want everyone to clap along now, yeah? Alright here we go. (starts clapping). Alright, white people find your rhythm." And then, he got all excited when he saw another black guy.

Earlier today, I was forced to accompany visited this massive Louis Vuitton store on George Street. Seriously, this place is like those stores you see in movies: the guy at the door opens it for you, everything in the store has a golden timge and there's this well-tailored man with glasses that looks like he's disgusted by all the not-so-classy people strutting around.

Me: Walks out of an LV store
My assumption: Dude, I bet everyone is judging you so hard right now, why don't you trip down the stairs right about now?
Me: Fuck.
Wow, I don't know if the that even made sense.

Boxing day was hectic. People everywhere. The foodcourt was crazy. People had to line up for shops and supermarkets. Maybe that's normal but I guess I just don't go shopping enough to know.

The buskers here are amazing. Some of them are good and some of them are just beyond amazing. One of the guys had a make-shift electric cello, a mic and a looper so that he could sing and beatbox at the same time. Singers everywhere. There was a drummer doing solos, there were three groups breakdancing that I've seen so far and there has only been one magician and he wasn't all that good. With the breakdancing groups, the best one was made up of an American and an Australian. Wait, sorry, I've already mentioned that. I'm doing this post over two days so just put up with me for a bit.

Les Misérables is AMAZING. I don't cry much, almost at all and this movie was just asdfjkl; I never knew Russell Crowe could sing so well. Sure he's got some room to improve but still, he did well. Hugh Jackman is just being his normal amazing self. Cassette and Marius are probably my favourite couple in the whole thing but then again, they're the only notable couple in the whole film but their voices are simply exquisite. Their duos, oh god, their duos.

If you're still with me here, good job, keep it up we're almost there, just one more story. Actually, no. I'll leave it for next time because I'm busy fanboying over Zhang Zi Yi in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Girls with swords right? ;)

Ok so, I just had about 50 hello pandas and a cup of milk and I'm not feeling too good so don't mind what I'm about to say.

So eating that many hello pandas is bound to leave a caffeine-sensitive person like me in a hyper kind of state. As a result, I normally crave a really good fight scene from any movie. Or just an action movie of any sort. As long as it's good. This time, I found this scene from Once Upon a Time in a High School (some Korean movie, idk). I found it oddly satisfying.

At a certain point I started thinking, "OK, well, he's gone long enough, he's bound to get tired by now." BUT NO. He just keeps on fighting. Fuck, this guy is amazing. adsjfklas;jfdklsa;fjdksla;fjdkslal; this is what you call a good fight scene. You can hear every ping of the nunchuck, every thump of a punch especially at around 4:14.

I dunno. I guess. Long story short, this is how I feel I would like to do to a lot of the kids at school. As psychotic, violent and perhaps disturbing as this sounds, this is what my mind looks like when I get bored. Actually, not even when I'm bored. Just whenever I feel like it. Y'know those mind games that people play when they're bored? Stuff like: figuring out how screwed you are if a zombie apocalypse happened where you were. No? Just me? Ok then.

Anyway, I'll be on my way to Sydney tomorrow afternoon and I haven't finished packing yet. So in the meantime, I'll just keep watching Korean sword movie scenes because they're just so sexy.

Girls with swords are sexier than girls with guns. Just sayin'

That's probably enough from me.

Must watch: Sword in the Moon and Shadowless Sword. I haven't watched them yet but I'm really keen. Like really keen.

So I know I've been a little all over the place with pretty much everything. From the Prestige to foodporn. From turkey dubstep to alpaca masks. From male strippers to Korean super girl groups. And just this last week and a bit have been all about: magic, comedy and, lately, Girls' Generation.

Two suggestions from comedy:
Tim Minchin

and the Boy with Tape on his Face

Both are freaking hilarious. Then, again, one of them doesn't talk at all while the sings at almost all of his gigs.

For magic:

Check out his other videos. This guy. Is just. omigod. what

GIRLS' GENERATION
Just check out the other two posts with Yuri and "I got a Boy"

Apparently, I Got A Boy is meant to have Exo in it as well so I'm looking forward to that. (fuck, what am I, bi or something?)

Anyway, I'm gonna catch some zzz's so g'night.

So EXO was meant to have their comeback somewhere around today but as it turns out it's actually SNSD's. Girls' Generation's comeback is on the 1st of January 2013 and asdjfkl; asdfjklda;fjdkl;agjfdklda;fjdkl;safjdklsa;hgak;ljfdkla;gjfdkla; yeah.

They released this song earlier today and

asdfjkla;jfdkls;afjdklsa  my future wife Taeyeon is just asdfjkl;afjdklsa;f

And of course there's Jessica and Yoona and Tiffany.
WHAT IS AIR.

I am so done.

So I don't know if you guys know but my blog resembles something that of a girl's blog (yeah, shirtless guys included). As a result of that, my friends (Leemay, in particular) have this thing where I'm almost like the gay friend my "sister" even calls me Ellie now (then again, that's been going for a while now).

But earlier today, someone posted this video on tumblr and I'm pretty sure I'm straight now.

Like, dead straight.

Like what.

Goddammit Yuri. Oh my fuck, I'll probably be listening to all my GG Albums again.

Anyway, I've been pretty bored with cleaning the house and whatnot and we have made astounding progress. I'm pretty happy with it. And something else I'm proud of is the progress we've made in Zelda Twilight Princess. We managed to get through about 5 dungeons in 2 days and for us that's pretty good.

That's probably enough from me so here's a yawning kitten.

So I had an anon have me answer all of these questions so I think I'll post them here first.
  1. the person i like and why i like them.
  2. a famous person i’ve been compared to.
  3. 5 things that irritate me about the same sex/opposite sex.
  4. the best thing that has happened to me this week.
  5. weird things i do when i’m alone.
  6. how i’d spend ten thousand bucks.
  7. things i like and things i don’t like about the way i look.
  8. my last night out in detail.
  9. something that makes me sad when i think about it.
  10. something i’ve lied about.
  11. would i rather be stranded on a desert island with someone i love for ten years or someone i hate for a month? explain why.
  12. something i’m currently worrying about.
  13. one person from tumblr i’d throw off a cliff, one i’d marry and one i’d fuck.
  14. something i do without realising.
  15. lyrics that apply to my current situation/mood.
  16. a drunken story.
  17. something i regret.
  18. post a picture of myself.
  19. my longest relationship and who it was with.
  20. press ctrl v and post.
  21. post a bit of my last IM convo.
  22. 5 things i want to change.
  23. my view on being tumblr famous.
  24. someone i’d like to be for a day and why.
  25. 5 things within touching distance.
  26. story of my first kiss.

1. Well for a start, she's smart, she blogs, she's pretty, likes the music that I do, has that kind of attitude, passionate about the stuff that she loves. as to who she is, well, I'm pretty sure she reads my blog ;D
2. No one has really compared me to anyone but I've been compared to a few Korean actors .__.
3. 5 things that irritate me about the same sex: a) when the guys my age are really immature, it pisses me off b) when guys touch you all over, i dunno, it's just... i have this "private square" thing c) man-sluts d) when guys don't know when to back off from another girl and e) shitty drunk guys are pretty annoying.
4. Best thing that happened to me this week: well I've been home alone for the first time in a while for most of the week so that's been pretty awesome.
5. Sing really badly. Like when no one else is in the house, I just play my music really loud and yeah.
6. Return plane tickets to Korea. and I'll buy stuff there because everything's so cheap. That would be amazing.
7. I somewhat like it that people think I'm Korean. I like my little hair flick on my right. Although I don't like my build, my leg/body proportion, my height and my frizzy hair.
8. Shit. It's been so long I don't even remember anymore
9. A lot of things. I guess there's one where I just don't know what I'm gonna do if I don't get my shit together. Which is where I just start thinking too much and I start blowing things way out of proportion and I start trying to get organise myself and then I get frustrated at myself.
10. There was this one time where I lied about how Mark's birthday party was a complete breeze for me where, in fact, I was walking around the city for around 2 hours looking for the damn venue until I realised they changed places.
11. Someone I hate for a month. for sure. I mean, it's a desert island. I personally wouldn't want to be there for a week. If I was stranded there for a month, I'd probably get stuff cleared up between us while trying to survive so that would probably work.
12. Something I'm worrying about: this house is a mess and we have a party in a two weeks and this shit is going to take at least a a week with four people but since I'll be the only one at home for the next week, it's gonna be pretty hectic
13.Throw off a cliff: well I love everyone I follow and I love my followers but there's always that one faggot that pops up and he's 11 years old or something and has a crappy theme and is a "Christian" and hates on black people and loves Taylor Swift, and whatnot.
Marry: k-styled. I don't know when I followed her blog but I think she's pretty amazing. She's Korean and lives in England, I mean, how good can that get?
Fuck: every-seven-seconds. over 18 blog. ;)
14. Something I do without realising: pulling my shoulder back and cracking my back
15. Anything from Clazziquai - Lazy Sunday Morning
16. I haven't really been drunk but there was this one time on an overnight train between cities in China in a school group and I got drunk with a bunch of teachers (NB this wasn't my school) and we started singing Bohemian Rhapsody and it was really good because everyone had an "instrument".
17. Something I regret: Not speaking early enough
18. well maybe later
19. Cathie; around 6 months
20. I really don't want to repost the whole list of questions
21. I haven't got access to it anymore
22. a) My social position with a lot of people b) my brother's attitude toward a lot of things c) the fact that a lot of my friends are becoming more and more distant d) my room arrangement e) changing from IT to art.
23. It would take a heap of effort but I'm on holidays now so I guess it's not too bad but come next year, I'd probably lose a whole lot of followers if I don't drop out of school.
24. Someone I'd like to be for a day. A day. Only a day? Well how about this. You become someone you hate for a day and you get completely wasted and end up somewhere like a bar or something so that when you become yourself again, you here that some person you hate got wasted and ended up in a bar.
25. 5 things within touching distance: keyboard, mouse, electric keyboard and my old cello
26.

Well, do I really hav-- y'know, is that really necessary?

Hah. Nope.

Before I start talking, NO JUDGING. I've just finished the campaign of an entire game, there's not much to do on tumblr, I'm bored as shit and my friend told me that it was good. And I'm not questioning my sexuality. Which is good.

The thing about male strippers is that they get more money and appreciation than female strippers. How do I know this? I was talking to a male stripper on Omegle about it who pretty much grew up in the business. And plus the guys don't get abused as much by their bosses.Just sayin'

It's a good movie although it has a rather predictable story line but I guess that's not the point right? :P Anyway, I'm going to make this sound as non homosexual as possible: the guys have very good...aesthetics. No offence, but Channing Tatum doesn't even have abs, man .___. maybe under a good light but I guess they didn't get it right in Magic Mike.

Channing Tatum. Hmmm. It's one of those words/names that don't sound right after you say it too many times.

ANYWAY. Getting away from that. Expendables 2 is just, literally, too awesome. It has a Arnold Schwarznegger, Bruce Willis, Jet Lee, Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Terry Crews and just a whole lot of awesomeness packed into just under two hours but the awesomeness isn't complete with the Lone Wolf: Chuck Norris.
Stallone: "I've heard another rumor...you were bitten by a king cobra?"
Norris: "Yeah, I was... and after five days of agonizing pain...the cobra died.

The movie is just...epic.

One movie I can't wait for is Les Miserables. I might've talked about it before, I can't quite remember. Anyway, this is the musical of my childhood. I've seen the it at least 10 times in the last two years. When I first saw the trailer on TV, I accidentally choked on my drink and probably inhaled some. Yeah, that's how excited I am for it. I knew that Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman could sing but not Russel Crowe. I had no idea.

I'm pumped, excited, ecstatic, whatever you wanna call it.

That'll be enough, I guess.

My god, I don't even. I'm pretty sure I'm an official B-sian, not an Asian.
English: B
French: B
IT: B
Music: B
Drama: B
and finally Maths B: C

For a start, I gotta say that I'm really proud of myself for IT and Drama because those two subjects were the two that I cared for the least and those were the ones where I got my better marks.

On the other hand, I'm pretty happy with the amount of food I've eaten. Half an ice-cream cake, half a bag of chips, shapes and dips, and then...
i swear I had some more. Oh fuck it, We had a freakin' awesome music lesson. That's all. Funny thing is that, contrary to my non-asian-ness, I somehow ended up saying Brack Friday instead of Black Friday. Which is pretty much a face-palm moment. Damn.

So ummm....
I got this heart in my inbox about a week ago and I don't seem to remember posting any question thingies. Maintenant, je suis très curieux ._.

Anyway, I've noticed that I've been straying further and further away from my little Asian group. Why? My guess is that I'm a little sick and tired of all this Dota shit. No offence, but you guys need to grow up a little and get the fuck away from that computer. Maybe that's just me, but I honestly prefer just being outside. Actually, yeah, that is just me but as far as I know, Isaac and James are the only Asians in our group willing to go out and get a bit of sun or at least who aren't exactly game-addicted.

Frenchies, here I come. Or I might just wonder around with Francois and Isaac. asdfjkl; I hate being socially awkward. Why do I even have facebook? I should probably exercise some time during the holidays. Oh shit, Amus exam next year. What am I even saying.

Okay. I need some sleep. I've got pizza to eat tomorrow.

So I've heard a bunch of people (namely the fanbase "Exotics") have been shipping Kris (Exo member) and an alpaca (is it an alpaca? or is it a llama. idk ._.). But, y'know, I've seen a whole lot of OTPs ships and whatnot but this...
what.

Guise that is legendary. I'm not a fan but still. This is good. right.

then there was this right after it

Because squirrel masks.

Anyway, I was having a look at my old playlist and one of the songs was Time of your Life by Green Day. Old song but a good song. So I went along and youtube'd it and as it turns out, the song has an alternate name.

Good Riddance. à² _ಠ

Funny thing was that at the time, one of the teachers were talking to us about subliminal messaging. Funny, sir. Real funny. Actually, that is kinda funny.

Anyway, I've been listening to an awful lot of K-indie and Rock lately. Specifically: Nell, FT Island, Busker Busker, Good Charlotte, and a couple of others that I can't pull right off the top of my head.

That's about it, I guess.

So it's only 11:20 at the moment and I still feel like blogging. Yes, I know it's not late but still, I had a long day and a short night last night so just bear with me. I've spent the last hour trying to figure out fancy new blog theme. I think it looks nice~ What do you guys think? It seems like an improvement from my last one. I even added music :D

Anyway, I'm going to start doing a few other things on my blog soon so keep a lookout for that.

Actually, I think that's quite enough from me. I need some sleep.

What do you get when put turkeys and dubstep together?
TURKEY DUBSTEP. Chyeah

What the f-- oh man that's just... yeah.

YES. Exams are over. Fuck yes. That's right. Over. Now I can go off learning how to do flips like this and do it to some bitch I hate at the end of next year.

My god, that would be awesome. Anyway. Going backwards from today. Not that anyone would care~ :P
ITS: The theory part of this was the easiest exam I had ever done. No joke. 2 minutes for that part but prac. Man, that was the worst part. I ended up restarting the whole thing three times, recopying and replacing files twice and my background wouldn't come up properly. That was screwed up but oh well, I managed to get a piece of paper in the bin while the teacher wasn't looking :P

French: Well, French was OK aside from the fact that I had to improvise (almost) my entire writing task and Mr Hackett was wearing his relatively distracting Friday shirt. From the year of Immersion, he told us he had a volcano shirt, some Hawaiian shirt, a deep sea shirt and one other shirt which I can't remember...then again, who really cares? Reading comprehension was pretty good. I answered most of the questions so that's good.
Day off on Thursday.
Maths on Wednesday was actually okay. Aside from not even knowing the first question and a highly screwed up Modelling and Problem solving section. Or maybe it's just me. Who knows.
Monday:
English. way too easy. Doesn't mean I passed so don't take me as cocky or anything. Still, we had an hour and a half to do it and most of us were finished after half an hour to an hour.

So...that's all quite lovely.

Blogs had been becoming quite scarce over the last week and a bit. "Well shit, Eddie, I wonder why." Well I'm sorry I've been a little more relaxed on my assessments than you have~

Plans plans plans.
 - Paintball with the boys sometime on the holidays
 - I found a 6-week training program last night and I need a partner to do it with...
 - Sydney on Christmas Eve
 - LES MISERABLES. I've been crazy over that for the last week or so.
 - I'm still finding things to do so yeah.

I've started getting back into magic and cardistry just recently and I gotta say, it's going pretty well. I just really need to work on my cardistry over the holidays or I'm screwed. They're good finger exercises too. Oh and remember to check these guys out. They're the reason I started cardistry~ Speaking of magic, I'm quite obsessed with the new and upcoming movie "Now You see Me" which to me uses a lot of tricks from the Prestige or rather a variation of them. Stuff like the Transporter Man, the Water Torture Escape. It even has Michael Caine in it.

"First rule of magic: always be the smartest guy in the room."

I guess that's a long enough post.

Man, I am LOVING  this weather. There's rain, and it's dark and it's a little cold but not too cold and it's perfect for sleeping in. Last night was crazy. I planned on sitting outside just watching the lightning with a cup of cocoa but Eric threatened to lock me out so, yeah. But back to the weather. They said there was another storm headed our way tonight so I can't wait for that :3 Fuck, I even planned for it:

Lovely weather for sleeping in but NO. So there's a maths C exam tomorrow morning for those who have it (which I don't, thank god) and we all have English in the afternoon and I wasted all my time, today, watching the Mentalist, Unknown and mucking around on twitter, tumblr and a music software. Oh well, at least it was fun :P

Holy crap, it just got really dark. like from nice sunshine and a few clouds to no sunshine and (close to black) clouds in 5 seconds.

Now it's raining and I think it's gonna hail.

Yay :D

I swear that if you pull some kind of shit one more time, it's not physical punishment you'll be getting (you never know), no, your credibility will be shot down pretty damn low and your beloved reputation will probably go with it. That's from my point of view, anyway but don't let that get you down, I want to see what you do this time and I'll try to use that against you and being a Christian, you should know very well that lust is one of the seven deadly sins but hey, I'm an atheist, what can I say? Lucky me.

So that was a little dark but it doesn't really get better from here. I've been thinking a little (too much) lately. So if you're not feeling your best, I'd advise that - at this point - stop reading after this sentence and go look at some pictures of food or some cute stuff on /aww.

I've been thinking about death and how interesting it is as an atheist. Sure there's a release of endorphins which makes us feel every feeling and relive every memory, conscious and subconscious but what about death itself. Specifically, I want to talk about instant death. How does that feel? A bullet to the brain, a snapped neck, getting hit by a train...I'd imagine it's like getting knocked unconscious but you don't wake up. After that, it's just a whole lot of nothingness. Well no shit, this is depressing, it's death and it's normal to feel a little uncomfortable with it. I'm just curious, I guess, as to how it would feel. maybe it's just the exams getting me down. Or maybe it's the annoying thing that can't help itself but be what it is and the songs that I'm listening to really don't help.

Oh well, enough of my pointless whining. I'm gonna go "study". *shifty eyes*

haha, I've been listening to a bit of everything now. Ben L'Oncle Soul is amazing. Just sayin' :P

oh my fuck, three assessments in three days. what. I had French on Monday, Music today and Drama's due tomorrow. Which isn't that bad seeing as I've finished Drama to a pretty good standard. English notes are due in tomorrow and I haven't even finished a first draft of the actual thing.

A rapist and con artist get caught by the sheriff in a small town. The town doesn’t have much money to take care of prisoners so the sheriff gets an idea. He decides he’ll charge money to let the townspeople punish the crooks and use the money to keep them in jail for as long as he can. The sheriff figures even a short stay in jail will be plenty after a little “justice” from the townspeople.

The sheriff takes the criminals to the town square, handcuffs them posts and sets up shop. He tells the people that the punishment should fit the crime so anyone can pay $1 to kick the rapist in the groin. Since the con artist used his image to wrong his victims, anyone can pay $1 to hit him in the face.

After a while there are two long lines for the criminals. Some people paying $5, $10, even $15 to get their licks in. After a long while, a guy steps up for his turn and sees the con artist’s face is a bloody pulp and thinks “He’s so beat up at this point, he probably can’t even feel anything anymore. I’m not going to waste my money on that.” So the guy walks up and kicks the con artist squarely in the groin.

The sheriff sees this and hurries over and says, “Hey son, you can’t do that here.”

The man asks, “Why not?”

And the sheriff replies, “Because this is the punch line.”

"Every great magic trick consists of three parts or acts. The first part is called "The Pledge". The magician shows you something ordinary: a deck of cards, a bird or a man. He shows you this object. Perhaps he asks you to inspect it to see if it is indeed real, unaltered, normal. But of course... it probably isn't. The second act is called "The Turn". The magician takes the ordinary something and makes it do something extraordinary. Now you're looking for the secret... but you won't find it, because of course you're not really looking. You don't really want to know. You want to be fooled. But you wouldn't clap yet. Because making something disappear isn't enough; you have to bring it back. That's why every magic trick has a third act, the hardest part, the part we call "The Prestige"."

Much easier to understand than Inception but yet another amazing movie by Christopher Nolan. My God, I should really shut up about that.

So I realised, recently, that I've become more and more sane as I've written less and less in my diary but I've started talking to myself which brings me right back down to slightly insane.

I'm not really keen on saying much now but I guess I'm loving the fact that it's a Friday and it looks like it's gonna rain. Which means sleeping to the sound of rain. asdfjkl;

Not much to say.

HOSHIT

so I mentioned the Prestige in the last post but I didn't really elaborate much on it. The whole thing is pretty much a competition between two magicians and it's just full of mindfuck because that's what Christopher Nolan always does. He's amazing like that. And the whole thing is just asdfjkl; . I won't give anything away but it's just...yeah.

WATCH IT. IT'S LIKE-- ugh

anyway. that's enough of me and my prestige "fanboying" shit, i don't know if that even exists. Fanboying.

Well some people picked the perfect time to have a party. Apparently Mark is starting to get a little more social than he normally has been. Which is good because that way I can tell my parents that "if Mark has time to party, then I have time to party". Which begs the comeback: "Well that's just because he's smarter than you." And the rest of our grade's Asians but that's beside the point because Mark pretty much never goes out.

So yeah.

I don't think I've mentioned that I made a S'mores Sandwich. My god, it's the most heavenly sandwich you can get (not to mention the most sugar-filled). It's pretty much a layer of choc-chips, a layer of melted/toasted marshmallows and a layer of crumbled graham crackers baked and between two slices of bread.

Results: here and here.

So go ahead. Buy a loaf of white bread, a pack of choc-chips, a pack of marshmallows and a pack of Arnotts Arrowroot biscuits. A few tips: kinda bake each one by themselves ie. put the marshmallows on one slice and the choc-chips on the other and melt/bake them separately. Crumble the biscuits into about this size and sprinkle onto the slice with the choc chips. Slam the two pieces together and toast them for a little longer and there you go. A S'mores Sandwich. Eat one while watching the Prestige or something, I dunno. With a tall, frosty glass of milk straight from the fridge. <-- got that line from Garfield :P
Anyway, I'm gonna go "do some homework". Speaking of which, our drama draft isn't due until Wednesday and French wasn't due until tomorrow so that's good.

mmk, I'm gonna go now.

So a couple of things have happened over the last couple of days, interesting, at that but I think I'll leave them as memories rather than having to "document" them.

Anyway, the QYO finale was yesterday and I guess it was pretty good aside from the fact that part of QYO2 is full of the "too cool" kids and the other part of it is the over 18 group. QYO3 is full of naïve kids who are overall pretty crap to be around. JSE is just kids. and QYS is intimidating because everyone there is pretty much the elite group of the QYORG. Oh well, at least we played well.

There's this thing with my computer online access: for those who haven't heard about it, it's almost as bad as the school restrictions. Initially, I didn't mean for this post to be so complain-stricken and tiring to read but if you're still reading up to this point then...well...you must be pretty bored. Well here goes. Things blocked at home:
Facebook, tumblr, Blogger, Hotmail, 8tracks, youtube, reddit, wimp, Pirate Bay and twitter is getting there. What I mean by Twitter "getting there" is that it's not actually blocked, rather, it just "doesn't work" and what  I mean by it "doesn't work", is that I can log in but only after 30 seconds, and when I do, I can't click on anything. Sure, they come up as links but nothing happens when I click anything which, in my case, leads to hair pulling situations.

tl;dr: Anything I like using online will be found out about and restricted.

well, that's my rant for the day. I should probably stop procrastinating seeing as I have a French writing article and a Drama draft due tomorrow. Oh and I should probably stop playing this strangely addictive problem solving game that I've been playing for the last half hour.

The Prestige is a crazy movie. It's just asdjfkl;ajsfdkl;sajfkdls;af

so yeah. and so is Drive. It's one of those movies that starts really slow but it hits one point it just slams its pedal to the metal (see what I did there? ;D)

Anyway, that's it.

Man, being awkward sucks. It's like I can be the weirdest piece of shit with my friends but with her my vocabulary range just whips down to, i dunno, it's like being asked unseen questions in a French Speaking exam but...much less clinical. Yeah. That's how my day kinda was.

Yeah so I downloaded "This Means War" last night. MAN, I need to learn how to make gifs. I watched the movie on the plane from Korea, I like the whole kind of story-line and, y'know, no-homo but Chris Pine is kinda, well, good-looking. My bad. Not gay, honest. The whole brotherhood thing is really cool too. I dunno, I just like the whole two best friends and one girl situation. It's a situation I might've been in. Maybe. Well yeah. No. Actually I don't remember when I've ever been in that situation. Maybe I've thought about what might happen if I was in that situation.

Nevermind.

I'm just gonna go eat now.

Oh man, I really need to get me a new blog theme. This one is starting to get pretty old.

So I figured that the last few posts have been a bit long and tedious to read so I'll try to make this one a little shorter.

For a start: I had this strange and sudden obsession with Jay Chou. Well, seeing as we're in this kind of weather, it was (what I was sure was) the last time I would see someone, I was tired, and that I'm that kind of person it was pretty typical to listen to some kind of sad and nostalgic music with the aid of RainyMood. Jay Chou seemed like a pretty good choice.

Eventually, I got to one song and it just sent me back into...I dunno, my vision went blurry but I wasn't crying or anything, everything went out of focus and I just kinda froze. It's just one of those typical, clichéd moments were the main character listens to a song and gets kicked into a flashback moment except I don't close my eyes like a retard I just stare at the screen and a wave of memories come flooding back. Smell, sounds, the feeling of a slight breeze and a pair of hands.

And now I've got a whole playlist of songs that I listened to about 3 years back.

So much for not looking back.

Oh well, that's a pretty short post.

I had something else to blog but I forgot. I'll post it next time.

so as a real quick heads up, they actually read the names wrong that day and switched my name for someone else's. In a nutshell, I won. Two gold medals: one for patterns and the other one for choreographed sparring routines. I don't know how we won that one. The first time, we got to about just after half way and I forgot. Just a stupid mind blank. It was embarrassing to just stand there and sheepishly ask the judges if we could try again. Second time through, we get to about 5 cuts in and everyone's watching really intensely and they're all wondering if I'll get another blank then SNAP the sword I'm using just breaks and the whole stadium just goes dead silent. Well fvck. I can't really sheathe it now, can I?

I sit down thinking nothing could get any worse than this. I've forgotten it once halfway through and now I've just broken a sword, I'm prettty sure I'm disqualified. Third time through, everything works and flows through and the next thing we know, they're calling up names for the next round and our pair wasn't called. Huh :/

About an hour and a half later, everyone is called down to prepare for the medals and awards. Everyone's sitting down and we're all tired and we all want to go home. Took them a while to get to sparring though. "Red and Cho-Dan-Bo aged 14 to 17 males Round one bronze goes to _____and_____" applause. blahblahblah. "Final Round Gold goes to EDWARD AND MICHAEL." And our team is just jaksld;fjaklfjdkla;jfdklsajf;dlsajfdklsa;jlfldk;sjflk;dsa;kd fjaskldfa
That was the most unlikely thing to have happened to me over the course of Nationals. Patterns was even more intense. This has a bit of context to it. In Korea, Round one I was winning, I was up top and it was all good. Second Round it was mainly me and a certain Callum. Come the results, he won by 0.1 points. I mentioned that before. Come the departure for Australia, we called a re-match at Nationals.

So waiting for the results in this situation was pretty intense so when they said "Silver Medal goes to" they knew about our situation, and duly made an even longer pause.

"Male Red and Cho-dan-bo 14 to 17 Final Rounds silver medal goes to...

-silence-

Callum ___."

That took a while to sink in. And when they finally called out my name it was absolutely jkals;djfkal;jfkld;ajgfklda;sjfdkl;asjfkdl;sajfdkls;ajfkldsa;jfklds;ajfkld;sajfkldsajfl;dsajfkdlsa;jfdkls;ajfkdl;ajfldk;fjkldsa;fjkdls;afjklds;afjklsd;ajfk;ldsa

One tear. That was the first time I had ever cried from happiness. Manly tear, no judging.

Anyway. That's all well. No more school music rehearsals, no more assessment until exam block and life is good.

I've been listening to this opera song called Don Giovanni. You know that piece in Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows where they're in Paris and Moriarty watches an Opera? That's the one. Here's a link to it and it's...well I think it's pretty intense.

Well, I'm gonna go sleep because sleep. If you read this whole thing then...well I'm pretty amazed that you bothered so thank you and I'm glad someone cares enough~

Disappointed. That's how I felt this afternoon. It was really awful. I dunno, having everyone expect me to get a gold medal was tough in the first place but not even making the finals was just horrible. ugh.

It was crap. It was so crap. It was just. Yeah.

Dinner was nice. I actually had a really decent meal for once.

So I've been listening to songs released around 2007 and 2008 like "Black and Gold" and "Just Haven't Met You Yet"

asdjfkl;

Kay. I'm done here.

Writing up my French speech for Tuesday makes me feel a lot like a stereotypical English teacher, going into so much depth and getting emotionally involved with the characters in a three minute song as well as their situation but I guess that's already implied.

In terms of writing the actual speech, it gets annoying every now and then. Say, for example, you're talking to someone in English on msn or facebook or some kind of social communication instant messaging shit whatever, and you're typing french at the same time and you're really getting the gist of the French keyboard and suddenly a message pops up saying: "Hey man what's up? How've you been?" and you go to say: "Yeah, nothing much just a bunch of assignments that's all. What about you?"

Unfortunately, the keyboard hasn't switched over the keyboard regional functions when I went to reply so what I typed looked like this: "Yeqh nothing ,uch just q bunch of qssign, ents thqtùs qll : Zhqt qbout you§"

Not even kidding. A is where Q is and vice versa; W is where Z is and vice versa; M is comma; dot is either colon and shift-/ becomes the Sims Currency. Just you wait till you hear about the row of numbers. There's a lot more to the French keyboard than that but I'll leave that up to you to learn. I learnt the hard way and went through typing articles in French until I got good at it.

I guess you can always go for the OSK (On-Screen Keyboard) or the Google Translate Keyboard (that's how I learnt the Korean Keyboard).

asjdfkl;
someone caption this. please. I can't come up with something cute, it's just like dog was napping and he heard Jack, the owner come back with a tennis ball and in his head he's just like BALLBALLBALLBALLBALLBALLBALLBALLBALLBALLBALL shit, where'd he go. Then he sees it and he's so happy that when he runs past the cat, he nips a little cheeky kiss and runs off, leaving the cat stunned. What.

I dunno, it's a Friday afternoon and I'm sick of doing assignments.

I've figured that the best insults come from the most intelligent people. Like from John Bright: "He is a self-made man and worships his creator" and Mark Twain: "Why do sit there looking like an envelope without any address on it?" Or perhaps Mae West: "His mother should have thrown him away and kept the stork."

Ok well, I think that's through and my thirst for that bit of leisure has been quenched so I'm gonna go back to my French assignment.

Less than a day till Championships ajkl;dfjsakl;fjdksla Come to Logan Metro Indoor Sports Centre tomorrow at like 10 if you want to come along and watch. Completely pumped.

Just thought I'd pop this in:
The word "nothing" meant vagina in Elizabethan slang so pretty much the Shakespearean play "Much ado about Nothing" was a shameless, dirty pun

Something like that. Learning every day, huh?

This is what happens when my brain explodes and a billion things skip and trip over and make a doggypile run through my brain in a split second.

Except for this joke.

So Jane asks Tarzan if he knows what sex is...
He asks, "what sex?". So she explains the mechanics and asks if he's ever done that. Tarzan says, "yes, with hole in tree".
Jane says, "no, no, no, this is where you're supposed to do it", and lays down on the ground with her legs spread open, gesturing Tarzan to mount her.
So Tarzan approaches, raises his right foot, and smashes down on her crotch as hard as he can. After several minutes of Jane rolling around and writhing in pain, she finally asks, "Dear god, why in the world did you do that?" To which Tarzan replies, "Check for squirrels."

Life is a bitch. If it was a slut, it would be easy.

Man, I need to learn how to make .gif files out of videos because there are countless things I would like to make a gif out of.

Why are people being productive and not blogging TT^TT whyyyyyy jsdakl;fjs;kalf;j;dskafjdskalf;jdsa I'm having this weird moment in my life where I can't be bothered doing much at all and fjdsal;fjslkajflkda;fjdklsaf; dsafdahjkfdsafkjfdsajhlfadsfsadagafjd;ljkl;jaklfjdksl;ajfke;

So there's this girl, right. and, I dunno, she's pretty and I think she's cute and yeah. thing is she's not...y'know, she probably doesn't...know I exist. and my maths b assignment monitoring is this thursday and i haven't started and oh well I well it's all jus-

-sigh-
I am going to appreciate the fuck out of these coming holidays.
That loosely translates to: I'm going to stay at home and watch movies and dramas and blog and reddit until next year and by the time I get to school, I'm going to need glasses thicker than your mum and my brain is going to be all asdfjkl; from all the fandoms I've been joining.

Finally, I'm managing to do some work but on one subject and one subject only. ITS is being a real bitch so I have to get that out of the way first. It took me at least half an hour to find out how to make a drag and drop game and another hour to actually do it. Now I'm halfway through and I've just started procrastinating. That's not going to end well. Oh, and it's due this Thursday TT^TT

wanted these shoes. I reckon I could've gotten them for about 100RMB each (which comes to around 16 or 17 AUD). I only got the Superman one down the end. asdjkl; it had COMICS inside the shoe. like inside, on the tongue and on the sole.

Post pictures later~

anyway, I'm gonna have to get back to my assignment.

So I found this song on someone's blog and I kinda really liked it. Hope you do too~

Anyway, I've been sick for the last week or so, so I took yesterday and today off of school, both of which were spent practicing excerpts for QYO and looking up food on Reddit. I'm not quite sure if that's good for me.

THIS is one hell of a sandwich

anyway. Food = the best way to get me happy :3

I can't really find anything interesting to blog about right about now aside from the fact that school started low and got lower; and that China is one of those places that you have to have been there to judge.

That's it.

Just as a quick update, the Internet here is just as bad as it is at home in terms of restrictions. YouTube, blogger, twitter, Facebook, and probably a heap of others are blocked. So yeah, we're about to leave for a three hour trip to Xi'An where we're going straight to a school which means my buddies here are gonna become superstars of the sort. Hopefully me too :3

Kthxbye

Clazziquai - Lazy Sunday Morning
Found it on this blog. New favourite chill song~

I think that dreaming every night for the last 6 months is finally taking its toll. Headaches, dizziness, constant fatigue and whatnot. As interesting as these dreams have been, I don't think it's doing me too well. I don't think that helps with the fact that I'm leaving for China soon nor the fact that I'll be having dinner at 1 in the morning while thinking about all the things I could be doing for the next two weeks.

For some odd reason, I can't actually follow people on twitter anymore. It just doesn't work :/ If anyone's got a solution, go ahead and comment or something.

Welp, I'm just gonna leave this here and be on my way.

A la Prochaine~
Last day of work experience was unforgettable. Seriously, I think this whole "experience" thing was amazing. It started off pretty bland with photocopying and book-moving but it ended with a full scale professional concert.

Today started off with a half-day in the office. It seemed a little boring but we got through it. Putting stickers on envelopes and putting stuff in the envelopes doesn't seem to hard until you realise that half the "stickers" are actually stickers. I ended up writing names and addresses onto the envelopes. After that was done, we finished at around 12:15 and left with a bit of chocolate from our supervisor.

What sucked was that I forgot my Go Card so I walked around West End for a bit until my bus came along and I got charged around twice as much as I should've because I didn't have my ID card. -sigh-

Having gone to Garden City to buy a CD, I bumped into Cyrus and Ray at their work experience place :D They happened to be working at eCosway which was funny because I didn't think that either of their accents were going to help them sell anything. Mum ended up buying something from the shop so I had a lot of time to talk to the boys.

ROMA STREET. Oh god, the place is beautiful. I took a few pictures and yeah, I can't get them up, but I'll try. I spent the first 15 minutes doing a stage-check and the next two hours were spent handing out flyers. In other words, talking to strangers. I dunno about you, but I find that a lot of fun. I came across a French couple who were talking and looking at a laptop they brought along. I had a bit of a chat with them and told them I was studying French at school. The girl turned the laptop so that it was facing me and it turns out, she was skyping with her parents overseas. That's pretty sweet. So yeah, it was fun.

To be honest, I think I'll actually miss my work place. The people there are so nice and I can even use the kitchen whenever I want to make some tea with biscuits. From the cute girl in marketing to the Stage setup Manager, they've made my work experience awesome so a big shoutout to them.
Even though they'll never see it anyway. Oh well.

So yeah, I don't know what to do now. I'll be leaving for China in about 20-something hours from now. I'll just post this thing from the Oatmeal about dogs:
You can find the original post here.

Well have a good holiday for those who are on holidays and for those who aren't, well, I dunno, good luck in  trying to get laid or sumthin', loljk, I dunno.

How about just,

A la Prochaine~

I think that works.

on Thursday, September 20, 2012

So every time you go to deactivate your facebook, if you ever do, it asks you if you're sure if you want to then tells you that 5 specific people will miss you. My reactions to each:
Probably not, maybe, nope (unfortunately), nope and I'm not sure. Oh well, looks like I'll just spend more time on tumblr and twitter.

Fourth day of work experience started off with a whole lot of nothing then a whole lot of everything. Since I didn't pack any food nor did I have the chance to buy anything, I pretty much starved for a day. I think we spent an hour packing up the rehearsal and another hour packing it all into trucks. When we got to Roma Street Parklands, we spent about 2.5 hours setting up the stage. Never. Again. Gettin' real tired of your shit, double basses.

What I like about the stage crew is that we can swear at each other even though we've only known each other for about 5 hours in total. Like: "OI STEVE, CAN YOU GET ME SOME PEGS, THIS FUCKING MUSIC WON'T STAY RIGHT." So yeah, it's pretty casual.

The couple next door had a baby.

Oh my fuck, she's cute. Melodie (or Melody, I'm not sure) she's not even a month old but she's gonna be one hell of a kid. I got to hold her and I'm so ajsdkfl;ajskgdl;ajfdkl;sajfkdl;ajgklad;fj kdlsa;kjfkla right now.

It's so beautiful how life can be brought to the world in such a small package. It's so... I dunno, inexplicably amazing.

Well, looks like I've found my soft spot.

Made a new personal blog which can be found here.

Well, I guess, for now,

Holy crap. QSO is way too good. You hear them play some fairly simple piece and you think, yeah, well, that was pretty hard and they did it well so good for them. But then you hear them play Flight of the Bumblebee as if it's the easiest thing they've ever done and Mitch and I were like

Thing is with these guys, it's just that they walk in on their first rehearsal and when they start, they do a whole piece in one go. And the end, I just wanted to clap but apparently everyone else thought it was crap. well, y'know, they thought there were heaps of flaws.

I still can't get over how amazing the auditorium is. The acoustics are amazing and with the music, it's just magical. If I had a camera if only I had a camera, I'd take a billion pictures of it but then again, there's this sign on the door prohibiting unauthorised photography TT^TT STILL, it's probably gonna be knocked down in the next year because they're moving to the new ABC building in Southbank. I don't even know how many steinway grands they have. Maybe before they abandon the building, I'll ask if I can take a few pictures.

But for now, I'm just trying to find a way to describe my situation about a specific person as subtly as possible. Without giving away who or what it's about.

While I'm trying to figure that out, I'll just go and watch Alfie.

As always,

A la Prochaine.
