Aunt: -sorting out clothes- is this shirt Eric's?
Me: Haha no, it's actually mine :D
Inside me: JUST BECAUSE IT HAS DOMO STUCK ON IT DOESN'T MEAN IT'S MY BROTHER'S

Haha. Anyway. First day back in Australia and there are a couple of things that I need to get used to:
- The heat
- Having a room of my own XD
- Having a bed that is 234886782903478294542 times softer than the one in Taiwan
- Not having a truck come by every 5 minutes and blaring its f***ing horn
- Not having two kids singing their bloody hearts out at 8 in the morning
- No more cheap food
- No more of grandma's food

Still. I think, I HOPE, I can manage. -sniffle-
LOL anyway
stacked up on HEAPS of reaction gifs and pictures. can't wait to use them.

So. The plane ride. It was probably the most frightening. Personally. I say personally because my mum got sick on the plane. I don't want to go into detail but it was actually a really scary incident. We were on a plane, way up in the sky at 2 in the morning and she gets sick.

For someone who has never experienced having someone they love faint before their eyes...it was scary.

On the lighter note, I watched only two movies on the plane: Officer of the year and Sound of Noise.

Officer of the Year was this Korean Comedy/Crime Drama about this officer who is transferred into a base and a rape (or squirt) case rises. He competes with another officer for an "officer of the year" title where the award is 30 billion dollars. The rape case involves both officers and....
yeah I'm shit at writing reviews.

Sound of Noise is Swedish.

Haha. Boom.

Anyway, I'm gonna go...pack my school stuff...

Been a while no?
So much shit has been going on lately: fucking racism; that ship that went down recently:

2012: more like the end of the era, not the world.

On a much lighter side: a bunch of us went down to KenTing for the night XD
I pretty much stayed at the pool tables for the whole time. There was a gym right next to it but they said only people 18+ could use weights

so that sucked pretty bad. but other than that, the pool was amaaazing. Since it was 130cm deep, stopping halfway was pretty easy~

SO...

Some of you might've heard about some of this SOPA shit.

It's pretty much the US Government vs Anonymous...mainly.  Obviously, there are a SHIT LOAD of other people protesting about it. MegaUpload was recently taken down. This was taken as the first step toward the WWW: World War Web. As a result, Anonymous went over to fbi.gov and "knocked it offline". Shit, now we have to cite everything or else we'll get jailed o.o

Oh and Mark Zuckerberg tweeted for the first time since 2009. For the anti-SOPA kinda thing. The Oatmeal, Cyanide and Happiness, Wikipedia, Reddit, and probably a whole bunch of others blacked out their websites for a protest against SOPA.

Here are some links:
http://www.neowin.net/news/sopa-supporters-list-updated-godaddy-not-included (list)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_Online_Piracy_Act (information)
http://theoatmeal.com/sopa (gif + tips)
http://explosm.net/sopa.html (info + tips)
http://www.themarysue.com/censorship-bills-protect-ip/ (info + video)

So here's a tip:
- Go learn about what the fuck's going on
- Raise awareness everywhere you can (call your friends, contact them over facebook, talk about it in school)

and

do what The Oatmeal says: Pirate the shit out of the gif.

Simply singing a pop song can get you 5 years in jail: this is a year more than Michael Jackson's Doctor. A video was taken down just for the use of it's music in the background.

Do what you can. Spread the word. Pray to God if you need to. Make a group if you want to. Go tell your local representatives about it. LEARN ABOUT IT. Don't let them take away what they don't even understand.

They are Anonymous. They are Legion. They do not forgive. They do not forget. Expect them.

It's been a pretty dull few days but I managed to learn drums pretty quickly so that was an up XD Oh and this is the second year in a row where I've met a French person and spoken to him/her in fluent French :P

Dad and Nic's family and Jade are going back to Australia tomorrow which leaves me, Eric and my mum...here. In a way, I kinda want to go back, but in another way I want to stay here.

Stay:
 - I want to visit my cousin's school again
 -  FOOD
 -  I haven't been to any might markets in the month that I've been here
 - Plus,  everything's cheaper here.

Go:
 - The heat, the beach, the aircon
 - More friends
 - More familiarity
 - I can rearrange my room again

That's just being general but still, it's not too bad, rationalising things.

If I were to make my blog my temporary diary, I could probably be writing at least 1000 words per blog post. And I might be scaring off how few followers/blogstalkers that I have.

I need more exercise D: I've been lounging around for waaay too long. My aunty keeps telling me to go skip rope and I said i would but...no.

Having now stocked up on my memes, i think i'm just gonna stop here and make some new posts later :P

I haven't been able make a proper post in a while due to lack of a computer and 1349841648 gifs/reaction memes. But right now, I just have to deal with internet explorer and no gifs.

Or reaction memes.
-sob-

I'm not sure if I said this already, but I've already signed 40+ photos for my cousin's class and two textbooks~ One of the girls were brave enough to write on my wall the she was a "big fan". You don't get that a lot in Australia :D something new, I guess. adfka;sdkfjla  I love their school though, their running track is red dirt, and the oval is massive. Their school canteen sells FULL MEALS for under 5AUD.

Anyhoo, I've been sitting in this computer room for over an hour just...not knowing what to do aside from blogging, going on facebook and...yeah that's about it. I can't actually upload any pictures seeing as this is a school computer and I don't want to, well, vandalise it with my...stuffs. TBH it's boring the shit out of me.

Oh and when I get back to Australia, you're gonna have to visit my Wordpress instead because my dad blocked blogger back there T^T But here's the link: whereistheotherwordpress.wordpress.com

yeah...that (awkward?) moment when you realise how f**king hot one of your primary school friends became...
Sorry, that was an in the moment kind of thing.

Well, I think I'm gonna get outta here...finally.

They began just as he was driving up the hill, lighting up the sky as if it were day time. Finally, the New Year. New life, new friends, new classes. Generally a new start all together. Fireworks. He never really liked them. He wasn't scared of them, no. They just reminded him of...things. The last time he was seeing the fireworks was back at home, at some kind of festival. He was meant to meet up with her but things didn't work out. She left the place before he got there and he ended up watching the fireworks by himself. He recorded it and planned on showing it to her later. He never did.

Now, almost half a year later, it was New Years and the fireworks seemed more like colourful gunfire than festive explosions.

Memories began to flow in along with the emotions that matched them. He was sick of having these flashbacks but his lack of self-control had overthrown him. His stepped on the brakes, causing his head to lurch forward abruptly. Looking in the rear-view mirror, he noticed some blood already beginning to spurt out. His knuckles had gone ghastly white and his teeth began to grind, holding back the urge to scream in agony.

As he reached the highway, he gradually increased his speed:
100...
150...
220...
310...

Lights. Screeching tires. Noise. Lots of noise. Flashes of memories.

Then...

Nothing.
WOW it's been a while

I haven't been able to blog in aages because of the holidays and lack of internet.

and privacy.

But anyway. To recap, I went to Korea with my family for 5 FREEZING days. we saw the snow, we went skiing, and i got 4 types of burns in one day: Ice burn,  wind burn, sun burn and I burnt my tongue so that counts too.

Christmas wasn't all that...amazing as it "should have been".

BUT i managed to get a little famous among my cousin's class.

I managed to advertise my facebook to two 40-student classes, become what Mac Iwano was at our school, and...that's pretty much it. If you don't know who Mac Iwano is, he was this pretty good looking Half American Half Japanese guy who plays guitar, has a slight lisp and came to our school as a part of a school trip.

Ok so, i'm not good looking, i'm not a halfie, I do play guitar but not like he does, i don't have a lisp and I didn't go as a school activity. I went just as an experience of a different environment in schools. Needless to say, it's really, REALLY different to MSHS.

So there's the buildings: tall, 4 storey buildings are the norm in that school.
They have a 9 hour school day + tutoring after school
They have a friendlier relationship with the teachers. They can call up the teacher when they're out having lunch and ask them to come with, they can tackle the teachers, make fun of them, and call them up just for a chat. I was surprised they even had the teachers' numbers.
They can wear whatever shoes they want (as long as they're white)
They can bring their phones, iPods into class
They can wear jewellery .
For girls, they don't need their hair tied back.

I could go on, but...that would be boring...like me. But you get my point: it's different.

Oh, and corporal punishment is still in action over here.
